Let’s Begin with The Creation-Stories and Folktales w/ poetry and Spoken Word. Cultural Songs, African Dance, Drumming, and Historical Character Presentation Component $2,000 – $2,500.— 3 to 5 performers

NATIONAL POETRY MONTH

Celebrating the art of spoken word.. Open Mic Show Case • Poetic Recitals, and We Speak in Rhythm PreK-3rd • 4th-6th • 7th 9th • 10th and Up. Content changes per age group, From nursery rhymes to spoken word, rhyming poems to haiku. presentations and workshops designed to engage students and participants in the freedom of rhythmic verse. Prices start at $475.00 minimum number of participants 10 maximum for workshop 25. Performances available for unlimited numbers of audience members. We Speak In Rhythm is the pperformance component written by Oba. Also, serves as residency project for student participants to learn assigned material, write original material and perform for special events or Family Literacy Nite.
