In 1999, We began storytelling as part of our Urban Gateways school based assembly and family reading night program. By 2004 we were listed as a touring arts program with the Illinois Arts Council, followed by the MinWest Arts Alliance. Through Library, School, and Festival activities we travel across the USA sharing interactive Storytelling, Poetry, Spoken Word, and English Language Arts – Interactive assemblies and workshops. We’ve continued to build the JUSTUSarts Educational Entertainment program, with arts funding and community support, sponsorship and donations from 2010 – 2020. Now we’ve added programming in the Mid American Arts Council as Roster artist for The Texas Commission on the Arts and as a featured Storyteller with the Bishop Arts Theatre Center.
