Thank You to the Libraries of North Texas, Arlington, Cedar Hill, North Richland Hills… What would summer be for hundreds of school age boys & girls if not for the library. Not just the safe gathering space, the cool AC, the development of friendships , maker space, you media, you name it… More importantly is the opportunity to maintain or increase their math and reading skills. Reading comprehension is super important to developing a positive self image. One of my fondest moments as a profession storyteller , is when an audience member tells me their interpretation of the story I told, or how the story differs from they remember reading.
